THE EFFECT OF FINANCING DECISION

TO FUTURE PROFITABILITY

(Empirical Study in Manufacturing Companies Listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange Periodic Year 2006-2008)

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of financing decision of the company's future profitability on the manufacturing companies with asset growth and size as control variables. This research is focused on the manufacturing companies which listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2006-2008. The samples are taken from ICMD (Indonesian Capital Market Directory) and/or financial statements which published by companies by IDX (www.idx.co.id). The method used for sampling from the population that is using purposive sampling method and researcher got 190 observations. The data analysis in this study is using the multiple regression analysis with SPSS for windows version 16.0.

The result of this research indicate that 27,4% of independent variables to explain the dependent variable. In partially indicate that financing decision has negative significant influence toward company's future profitability with a significance level of 1%.
